Overview

AI Call ("we", "our", or "us") is a real-time phone call translation app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

By using AI Call, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

Data We Collect

Audio data

AI Call processes audio from your phone calls to provide real-time translation. Call audio is processed in real time and is not stored permanently on our servers after the call ends unless you explicitly save a transcript.

Account information

If you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name. You may also sign in using Apple or Google, in which case we receive only the information you authorize those services to share.

Usage data

We collect anonymized data about how the app is used — such as language pairs selected, call duration, and feature interactions — to improve the service. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

Device information

We collect basic device identifiers (operating system version, device model, app version) for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.

Payment information

If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not store your payment card details.

How We Use Your Data

  • Personalize language preferences and call settings
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use call audio to train AI models without your explicit consent.

Service providers

We work with trusted third-party providers for cloud infrastructure, translation APIs, and analytics. These providers are bound by strict data processing agreements and cannot use your data for their own purposes.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AI Call, our users, or the public.

Business transfers

If AI Call is acquired or merged with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Call audio is discarded immediately after processing. Saved transcripts (if you opt in) are retained until you delete them.

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@shaling.ai.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3) for all data in transit. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Our infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2-compliant cloud providers.

While we take security seriously, no system is completely impenetrable. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

All users

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and data
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

EEA / UK residents (GDPR)

You have additional rights under GDPR including the right to restrict processing, the right to object, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California residents (CCPA)

You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to opt out of the "sale" of personal information (we do not sell your data), and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

Children's Privacy

AI Call is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide a more prominent notice through the app or via email.
